NF SOFTBALL ACADEMY
Throwing mechanics, footwork, glove work, running form, and base-running, are often overlooked in training. This leads to many players being overlooked by higher-level teams or starting positions.
The NF Softball Academy is a 16-week program developed to give young players the finite defensive & offensive skills to perform at a higher level.
As an Academy Athlete, you’ll receive the following:
-
23 hours of in-person training focused on building athleticism, agility, hand-eye coordination, throwing, catching, fielding, & base-running skills.
-
16 x 1.25-hours group training sessions held at The LAB in Linton, Indiana.
-
2 x 1.5-hours on-the-field training in June
-
CoachNow Training Group with lifetime access to recorded training drills, skill explanation videos, and materials so you can refer back to them on your own time.
-
Zoom Workshops for parents covering two essential topics: 1) "Athlete Nutrition" delivered by a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, and 2) "Supporting Your Youth Athlete" research-based presentation by MS in Applied Sport & Exercise Psychology, Nicole Fougerousse.
